Your rules, your pace
BBW Dating Safety: Block, Report and Stay in Control
Privacy tools, blocking and human support sit behind every chat, so you decide who gets close.
When someone crosses a line
If someone is rude about your body
You do not have to put up with it, and you do not have to argue.
Do
- Block them. Contact ends at once.
- Report the message or the profile from inside the site.
- Tell human support, who answer by chat and messaging at any hour.
Skip
- Explaining yourself to someone who was rude.
- Moving the chat to another app because they ask.
- Sending photos or details to win an argument.
Consent and respect
Consent comes first, however the chat has gone
Casual does not mean careless.
Everyone accepts the Terms and Conditions when they join, and harassing or stalking other members breaks them. A yes has to come from both of you, it can change at any moment and silence is not a yes.
The house rules are set out on the about us page, the main site’s guide to consent and casual sex goes into more detail, and dating a BBW respectfully covers the manners.
Before you meet anyone: read meeting for sex safely and how dating scams work on the main site, and keep your address to yourself until you are sure.
The full list
The protections, in the order you meet them
Before you chat
You join under a username, so your real name and email stay hidden, and your profile names only the town or city closest to you. Want a badge? Optional ID verification, offered at no charge, puts one on your profile. Would rather not show documents? Choose a live video check with a moderator instead. It confirms who you are, though no badge comes with it. Administrators can validate a profile, and age is estimated automatically, with extra checks wherever the law demands more.
While you chat
Each member carries a reputation score that grows out of behaviour and feedback, and an instant upvote or downvote records how an exchange went. If someone tries to take you to WhatsApp or a similar app, a warning points out common scam tactics. Sensitive images arrive blurred behind a warning, and safe-dating tips are built into the site.
In the background
AI watches for suspicious behaviour, and content is screened on upload through AI and human review. Unauthorised content is taken down swiftly. The company is involved with the Online Dating and Discovery Association, and hosting is secured with SSL encryption.
Safety questions, answered
What should I do if someone comments on my body?
Block them, then report the message or profile from inside the site. Blocking ends contact at once, and harassing members is against the terms. If you want a person to look at it, human support answers by chat and messaging around the clock.
What does the ID badge mean?
It means the member chose the optional ID check, which looks at government ID. Not everyone does it, and a badge is one thing to weigh up, not a promise about how someone will behave. The live video check gives no badge.
How much does the site check on members?
ID checks and live video checks are optional, and administrators can validate a profile. Beyond that, no criminal background checks are run on members and what they say about themselves is not verified, so treat a new match as you would any stranger.
Is there an age check?
Yes. Age is estimated automatically, and the site steps up its checks wherever the law demands more. Members must be adults: 18 or over, and 21 in places where the law sets adulthood later. The terms spell out who can join.
